Sky-Watcher Plossl SWA 6mm 58° 1.25″ Planetary Eyepiece

Looking for budget-friendly eyepieces that deliver good quality images to supplement or replace the eyepieces that came with your telescope? The Sky-Watcher SWA-58 Plossl eyepieces are definitely worth considering - they're among the best in price-to-performance ratio on the market!

Precision Design for Outstanding Images

The short focal length SWA Planetary Plossl eyepieces have been carefully designed to provide high-quality images regardless of the type of telescope they're used with. They've been optimized for observing bright objects, delivering sharp images across the entire field of view.

Wide-Angle Field for Comfortable Viewing

These wide-angle eyepieces offer a 58° field of view, which combined with their focal length ensures comfortable observation of the Moon, planets, and tight double stars. In fast telescopes, this eyepiece can even be used to observe small, compact deep-sky objects.

Advanced Optical Construction

The SWA Planetary are modified Plossl-type eyepieces with an additional element that increases the field of view. The eyepiece features a twist-up eyecup that allows you to block stray light sources that interfere with observations. The optical system consists of 5 lens elements arranged in 3 groups with fully multi-coated FMC anti-reflective coating, ensuring high light transmission and minimizing unwanted reflections.

Practical Features

The eyepiece has a standard 1.25" filter thread. Thanks to their low price and above-average optical capabilities, these eyepieces work excellently in many optical designs as well as in binocular viewers. The 16mm eye relief ensures comfortable viewing even for eyeglass wearers.

Wide Range of Focal Lengths

The SWA Planetary series offers a wide selection of focal lengths that you can match to any telescope: 2.5mm; 3.2mm; 4mm; 5mm; 6mm; 7mm; 8mm; 9mm; 15mm; 20mm; 25mm
