The Bresser ClimaTemp TB is a compact home weather station with a well-organised colour LCD display divided into four distinct zones, making it easy to find any reading at a glance without scrolling through menus or pressing buttons. Indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity occupy the right side of the screen, the weather forecast for the next 12 hours is shown graphically in the upper left, and the clock, date, day of week and moon phase fill the lower left. The layout is clean and logical - everything you need to know about current conditions and the day ahead is visible simultaneously on a single screen.

Indoor and outdoor monitoring

The base station measures indoor temperature and humidity directly, while the included wireless sensor extends monitoring to any outdoor or indoor location up to 80 metres away. The sensor has its own integrated display showing current temperature and humidity readings directly on the unit, which is useful when the sensor is placed in a greenhouse, garage or separate room that is checked regularly without needing to walk back to the base station. Up to three wireless sensors can be connected simultaneously, allowing coverage of multiple rooms or outdoor locations from a single base unit. Additional compatible sensors are available separately.

Barometric pressure is measured and displayed on the base station, providing the data needed for local weather trend analysis. The 12-hour weather forecast is derived from pressure trend data measured at the station's location and displayed as one of six weather symbols: sunny, partly cloudy, overcast, rain, thunderstorms or snow. A locally derived pressure-based forecast is often more accurate for your specific location than generic regional forecasts, responding directly to conditions at your home.

Dual alarm clock with snooze

Two independent alarm times can be set on the ClimaTemp TB, making it easy to manage different wake-up routines for weekdays and weekends without reprogramming the alarm each evening. After the alarm sounds, pressing the snooze button on the front of the unit silences it for a few minutes before it sounds again - a straightforward function that most users will appreciate having on a bedside or kitchen counter weather station. When the station is running on batteries rather than the mains adapter, the display backlight activates for seven seconds when the snooze button is pressed, allowing the screen to be read in a dark room without permanently illuminating the display through the night.

DCF radio clock and moon phase

Time, date and day of week are synchronised automatically via the DCF77 radio signal, which the station receives and uses to set the clock precisely within minutes of being switched on. Daylight saving time transitions are handled automatically without any manual adjustment. If DCF signal reception is unavailable in your location, the time can be set manually. Current moon phase is displayed alongside the clock - a feature appreciated by gardeners following a lunar planting calendar, astrophotographers planning observation sessions around the new moon, or anyone who simply enjoys tracking the lunar cycle.

Display and power options

The 15.38 cm diagonal colour LCD display offers two brightness levels, allowing the screen to be dimmed for overnight use without switching off entirely. The large 2.3 cm digit height makes readings comfortable to read from across the room. The station measures 144 x 142 x 25 mm and can be placed on any flat surface using the fold-out stand on the rear, or hung on a wall using the integrated wall mount.

Power is supplied either by three AAA batteries for portable or battery-backup operation, or by the included mains adapter for continuous powered use. Running from the mains adapter keeps the display constantly illuminated at the selected brightness level, while battery operation conserves power by activating the backlight only when the snooze button is pressed.
