The Bresser Neomeo H is a clear and stylish colour weather station designed for everyday monitoring of outdoor weather and indoor climate. The attractive colour display shows everything relevant at once - current outdoor and indoor temperature and humidity, a graphic weather forecast, an indoor climate comfort indicator, DCF radio-synchronised time and automatic warnings for hazardous temperature conditions. The package includes a wireless thermo-hygrometer sensor with IP44 weatherproofing and a range of up to 80 metres, so it can be placed virtually anywhere in the garden or on the balcony.

Weather forecast and outdoor measurements

The graphic weather forecast is derived from locally measured values and shows what conditions to expect in the coming hours. It makes planning outdoor activities easy and eliminates unpleasant surprises - whether you need to know if an umbrella is necessary or whether the afternoon is suitable for a bike ride.

Outdoor temperature and humidity are measured by a wireless sensor placed directly in your surroundings, so the data reflects actual conditions at your home rather than general regional values from a distant meteorological network. A temperature alarm sounds an audible alert when the outdoor reading crosses a user-defined threshold. Particularly useful is the frost warning - a blinking icon appears automatically on the display whenever outdoor temperature falls into the hazardous range between -1 °C and +2.9 °C, where ice formation and frost damage to plants become a real risk. This warning requires no configuration and works immediately from the moment the station is switched on.

Indoor climate monitoring

Maintaining the right indoor climate has a direct impact on health, comfort and the condition of the living space. Air that is too dry dries out the mucous membranes and increases susceptibility to respiratory illness, while air that is too humid creates conditions for mould growth. The ideal relative humidity range for living spaces is approximately 40 to 60 %.

The Neomeo H addresses this in two ways. The indoor climate comfort indicator immediately shows graphically whether current conditions are comfortable or whether action is needed - opening a window, running a humidifier or a dehumidifier as the case may be. The 24-hour min/max memory allows you to review the temperature and humidity history of the room - particularly useful for mould prevention in critical spaces such as bathrooms, bedrooms and basements, where conditions can deteriorate unnoticed overnight.

IP44 wireless outdoor sensor

The included wireless thermo-hygrometer sensor stands out from the typical accessories bundled with entry-level weather stations in two important respects. First, it has its own clear LCD display - temperature and humidity can be read directly on the sensor without needing to walk back to the base station. This is appreciated when the sensor is placed in a greenhouse, garage or separate room, where it effectively serves as a standalone thermometer and hygrometer.

Second, the sensor carries an IP44 rating, certifying protection against water splashing from any direction. While unrated sensors must be sheltered under a roof overhang or placed behind a window, the Neomeo H sensor can be installed in exposed outdoor locations without concern for its longevity. The wireless transmission range on 433 MHz reaches up to 80 metres, sufficient for larger gardens and more distant parts of a property. The sensor can be placed on a flat surface using the integrated stand or fixed to a wall using the included wall mount.

DCF radio clock, alarm and power

Time, date and day of week are synchronised automatically via the DCF77 radio signal - the station acquires the signal within minutes of being switched on and displays the precise Central European time without any manual setting. Daylight saving time transitions are applied automatically. If DCF reception is limited in your location, the time can be set manually and the time zone adjusted as needed.

The integrated alarm clock with snooze function provides a comfortable start to the day. The station is primarily powered by the included mains adapter, which keeps the display continuously illuminated. Three AAA batteries serve as backup during power outages, preserving all settings and the clock if the mains supply is briefly interrupted.
