Measurement Modes
Standard Mode
This mode measures direct distance to target with precision to one-tenth of a yard/meter. The continuous scanning feature allows you to hold the POWER button for real-time distance updates, enabling smooth tracking of changing distances.
Rain Mode
In this mode, the rangefinder ignores interference caused by rain and provides accurate direct distance measurement to the target. The horizontal distance is displayed on the bottom line of the display, making it ideal for adverse weather conditions.
Hunting Mode
Hunting mode suppresses interference caused by tall grass or bushes between you and the target. This mode is perfect for:
- Measuring distance to game moving in dense vegetation
- Target acquisition through brush and foliage
- Professional hunting applications
Horizontal distance is displayed on the bottom line, and activation is indicated by a circled mode icon.
Horizontal Distance Mode ("HD")
This mode measures the true **horizontal distance** to the target, which is particularly useful for ballistic calculations when shooting. Features include:
- Direct distance shown on top display line
- Horizontal component shown on bottom display line
- Essential for uphill/downhill shooting scenarios
- Perfect for air rifle trajectory calculations
- Ideal for elevated archery positions
Angle Mode
Measures angle of inclination with precision to one-tenth of a degree. When aiming downhill, a "-" symbol appears next to the angle value. This mode displays direct distance on the top line and inclination angle on the bottom line.
