The 52° corrected field of view delivers a significantly better visual experience compared to a basic Plössl design - particularly at the edges of the field, where the image remains sharp and free from distracting distortion.

Optical performance and coatings

The patented EMD anti-reflection coating is applied to all optical surfaces, ensuring high contrast and effectively suppressing unwanted light reflections. As a result, fine details on planetary surfaces and the Moon stand out clearly even under challenging lighting conditions.

Argon fill and weatherproof construction
