Fully multi-coated optics for bright, high-contrast images

The UWA (Ultra Wide Angle) series features fully multi-coated optics throughout the entire optical system. This ensures high light transmission, effective suppression of unwanted reflections, and excellent image contrast. With a 15mm focal length and a 66° field of view, you get a pleasantly spacious image that gives the observer a true "immersed" feeling - the classic wide-angle eyepiece experience.

Comfortable viewing with or without glasses

The 13mm eye relief is sufficient for comfortable viewing both with and without glasses, although users with strong corrections may prefer models from the series with a longer eye relief. A fold-down eyecup lets you quickly adapt the eyepiece to your needs - fold it down when observing with glasses, or extend it to center your eye precisely when observing without.

The Omegon UWA 15mm eyepiece works excellently as a general-purpose eyepiece for medium magnifications. Here are some typical examples:
