The Delos series represents the latest construction from the renowned American company TeleVue, which has specialized in manufacturing premium astronomical eyepieces for decades. Like previous models, these eyepieces excel in short focal length reflecting telescopes, where optical aberration correction in the 72-degree field of view gives absolutely no reason for complaints. Excellent correction of geometrical distortions ensures that no distortions or chromatic aberrations are visible at the edge of the field of view, which represents a huge advantage when observing the lunar disk or planetary details.
Superior Comfort and Ergonomics
The lens closest to the eye has a diameter of up to 35mm, which together with the adjustable eyecup contributes to very high comfort during observation. The eyepiece construction is optimized for long-term use, with ergonomic design minimizing eye fatigue during long observing nights. High-quality multi-layer coatings on all optical surfaces ensure maximum light transmission and eliminate unwanted reflections.
Advanced Optical Technology
Delos is in a certain way a development of the Nagler series concept and is perceived as a counterpart to the Ethos series with a reduced field of view. It features a field of view adapted to the natural viewing angle of the human eye, without the need to "look around in the eyepiece." Moreover, each Delos has significantly smaller dimensions than Ethos and comfortable 20mm eye relief, which allows comfortable observation even with glasses.
