7-in-1 outdoor sensor
The outdoor sensor (344 x 394 x 136 mm, weight 638 g) integrates the measurement of seven parameters simultaneously:
- Air temperature and humidity
- Wind direction and speed
- Rainfall amount
- UV radiation
- Light intensity
The anemometer has been improved for accurate measurement across a full 360°, with a resolution of up to 16 wind directions. The temperature and humidity sensor is protected by a new radiation shield that ensures better air circulation and therefore more accurate readings.
Data transmission operates at 868 MHz with a range of up to 150 m in open space. The sensor is designed for open outdoor placement - which is especially important for correct measurement of solar radiation and rainfall - and is mounted on a wall or pole using the included bracket.
Measured parameters and displayed data
Wind
Wind speed is available as both average and gust values in mph, m/s, km/h or knots, supplemented by the Beaufort scale.
Rainfall
Rainfall is tracked across five time horizons: current intensity, hourly, daily, weekly, monthly and total accumulation.
Barometric pressure
Barometric pressure can be displayed as an absolute or relative value in hPa, inHg or mmHg. The sensor range is 5-11 mbar.
UV and light
UV index is measured on a scale of 0-16, light intensity is displayed in Klux, Kfc or W/m².
Feels like temperature
The "Feels Like" function takes into account both wind chill and heat index as well as the dew point - so the result reflects how the weather is actually perceived by the human body.
History and alerts
- Hourly history for the past 24 hours
- Memory for minimum and maximum values
- Adjustable alert thresholds for indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity, feels like temperature, strong wind gusts, heavy rainfall and a sharp pressure drop
- Alerts are indicated by blinking icons on the display
- Frost alarm with advance warning
