Sky-Watcher Dual White/Red LED Flashlight with Variable... Sky-Watcher Dual White/Red LED Flashlight with Variable Dimming The Sky-Watcher Dual White/Red LED flashlight is an absolutely indispensable tool for every observer, featuring 2 LED diodes with switchable white and red light modes and continuously variable brightness control. This versatile flashlight handles all your nighttime astronomy needs - illuminating star charts, selecting and changing eyepieces, making equipment adjustments, and navigating your observing site. The red light mode preserves your carefully acquired dark adaptation, preventing the pupil constriction that white light causes. This is critical when observing faint deep-sky objects where even brief exposure to white light can destroy 20-30 minutes...

Baader Planetarium Hyperion Zoom 2.25x 1.25″ T2 Barlow Lens

Want to get more from your existing Baader Hyperion eyepiece system? The Baader Hyperion Zoom 2.25x Barlow lens is built exactly for that purpose. It is a triplet anastigmat multiplier that works as a natural extension of the Hyperion Click Zoom range. It dramatically increases the range of usable focal lengths - without the need to buy new eyepieces.

Wider focal length range - no compromise on quality

If you use the Baader Hyperion Zoom 8-24 mm eyepiece, combining it with this Barlow lens transforms its range to 3.5-10 mm. That means significantly shorter focal lengths with no loss of image quality. The triplet optical design produces an anastigmatic, flat field of view, so stars remain sharp all the way to the edge. This makes a real difference for observers of planets and double stars, where every detail counts.

Projection mode and planetary astrophotography

The package includes a T2 thread adapter, which opens up additional possibilities. In projection mode, this Barlow lens extends the focal point by a factor of 1.3x to 6x, depending on the distance between the lens and the sensor. Used as a standard Barlow lens in direct connection, it delivers a fixed 2.25x magnification. This makes it an ideal tool for planetary astrophotography - for example with a webcam or a dedicated planetary camera connected via T2 thread. Thanks to the Baader Phantom Group anti-reflection coatings, image contrast stays at the highest level even when imaging a bright planet against a dark background.

Compatible with almost any telescope and eyepiece

The Barlow lens accepts 1.25″ and 2″ telescope focusers on the telescope side and delivers a standard 1.25″ connection on the eyepiece side. This guarantees compatibility with the vast majority of telescopes and eyepieces available today. The Baader Hyperion Zoom 2.25x Barlow lens is not just an accessory for one specific setup - it is a flexible tool that grows with your equipment.

Who is this Barlow lens for?

The Baader Hyperion Zoom 2.25x Barlow lens suits a wide range of users.

  • Hyperion Zoom 8-24 mm users - extend your range down to 3.5 mm without buying extra eyepieces.
  • Planet and double star observers who need sharp, high-magnification views.
  • Astrophotographers looking for a reliable T2 connection for webcams or planetary cameras.
  • Telescope owners who want a single accessory that works across multiple setups.

Why choose Baader Phantom Group coatings?

Baader Phantom Group anti-reflection coatings reduce unwanted light reflections inside the optical path. The result is higher contrast, better colour rendition, and cleaner images - especially important when observing bright objects such as the Moon or planets. This coating technology sets the Hyperion Zoom Barlow lens apart from standard Barlow lenses in the same price range.
