DeltaOptical Forest II 8x42 Binoculars
The Forest II is a new generation of the popular roof-prism binoculars series from DeltaOptical. The optical system comprises eight elements in six groups. The BaK4 roof prisms feature phase-correction and silver coatings, and all lenses carry fully multi-coated (FMC) anti-reflection coatings. The result is an image with high light transmission, neutral colour rendition, and sharp detail right to the edge of the field of view.
Binoculars for birdwatching and nature observation
With a 42 mm objective lens and 8x magnification, the Forest II delivers an exit pupil of 5.2 mm. That gives you comfortable viewing even in low light - in woodland shade or at dusk. A field of view of 149 m at 1,000 m makes it easy to follow moving animals or birds in flight without constantly refocusing.
The body is waterproof and nitrogen-filled, which prevents internal fogging when temperatures change suddenly. Central focusing works from as close as 2 m. Dioptre correction of +/-4 dioptres covers most eyesight differences, and you do not need to remove your glasses to observe. An eye relief of 17 mm ensures comfortable viewing for spectacle wearers.
