Delta Optical Voyager II 12x50 Binoculars
The Delta Optical Voyager II series is designed for observers who refuse to compromise on optical quality - yet still want a sensible price. These binoculars are not a compromise in the usual sense. They are carefully engineered instruments that deliver on both optics and mechanics in a way that surprises anyone who picks them up for the first time.
Focusing is smooth and free of play. Adjusting the eyepiece spacing is easy and natural. The rubber-armoured body sits firmly in your hand even in wet conditions or with gloves on, so you can focus entirely on what you are watching rather than struggling with the instrument.
Clear, natural image in any light
The Porro prism optical design uses lenses and prisms made from BK7 glass, delivering a natural, bright and sharp image with accurate colour rendition. The 50mm objective diameter combined with 12x magnification places this model firmly in the versatile category. It handles nature watching, hiking trips and views of the night sky with equal confidence.
The field of view is wide enough to take in a full landscape scene or a broad constellation without constantly refocusing or repositioning. Comfortably shaped eyecups and an ergonomic grip allow long observing sessions without eye fatigue.
Which model in the Voyager II range is right for you?
The Voyager II range offers 50mm binoculars in four magnifications. Choosing the right one depends on how and where you plan to use them.
10x50 and 12x50 - everyday use, travel and astronomy
These two models offer the widest field of view and the brightest image in the range. They perform well at dusk and dawn, when light levels are low. The 12x50 is an excellent choice for astronomical observation - it shows star clusters, the Andromeda Galaxy and other deep-sky objects clearly and comfortably.
16x50 and 20x50 - higher magnification for distant subjects
These models are designed for situations where you need greater reach - tracking aircraft at altitude, spotting shy wildlife across open terrain, or observing distant landmarks. Bear in mind that higher magnification reduces image brightness. These models perform best in good daylight and are less suited to low-light or twilight conditions.
