TeleVue DeLite 11mm 62° 1.25″ Eyepiece
The DeLite range grew naturally from the Delos series. It keeps the same optical qualities but in a smaller, lighter, and more affordable package. The TeleVue DeLite 11mm eyepiece delivers a 62° apparent field of view and 20mm of eye relief, making it comfortable for observers who wear glasses. It includes a sliding, lockable eyecup and is ready for the Dioptrx correction lens.

About the DeLite range
All DeLite eyepieces use a 1.25″ barrel and are parfocal with TeleVue Plossl, Panoptic, Nagler and Delos eyepieces. You can switch between them during a session without touching the focuser. The range is available in three focal lengths: 18.2mm, 11mm and 7mm.
The name DeLite honours designer Paul Dellechiai and reflects the experience of looking through one.

"I tested the eyepiece with four telescopes - a 12-inch Newton f/4 with a Tele Vue Big Paracorr coma corrector, a 12-inch Dobson f/5, a 4-inch apochromatic refractor f/5.4, and a classic 6-inch Newton f/9.
As I have come to expect from TeleVue eyepieces, the DeLite produced excellent views in all four telescopes. Stars appeared as true point sources across the entire field of view, with no chromatic aberration even on the brightest stars, and only minimal barrel distortion - round objects do not stretch into ellipses as they move across the field. Daytime views were sharp and contrasty, with no colour fringing even on high-contrast edges such as power lines against a bright sky.
The DeLite is exceptionally comfortable to use. You never feel like you are fighting to find the correct eye position."
