Omegon Twin Light LED Torch with Brightness Control
Your eyes need up to 30 minutes to fully adapt to darkness. Only then can you spot faint stars or nebulae through the eyepiece. White light destroys that adaptation instantly - and you have to start all over again. The Omegon Twin Light red torch solves this problem. Red light does not harm your night vision, so you can read star maps or check your eyepiece without losing the eye sensitivity you worked hard to build.
Two types of light, one simple switch
A simple switch lets you choose between two pairs of LED lights - 2 red and 2 white. White light is useful when setting up a tripod, packing your telescope, or finding your way in the dark. Once you start observing, switch to red and stay fully adapted all night long.
Adjustable brightness
You can adjust the brightness smoothly to match exactly what you need at any moment. When reading notes or maps during an observing session, a low brightness level is usually enough. Your eyes stay comfortable and you can read clearly without any strain.
