Optical design and image quality

The eyepiece is built on a four-element optical system arranged in two groups - the characteristic configuration of a classic Plössl. The optical surfaces are coated with multi-layer anti-reflection coatings that minimise unwanted reflections and maximise light transmission. The result is a level of contrast you will especially appreciate when observing planets or the Moon.
