Omegon Oberon 15mm 82° 1,25″ Eyepiece
The Oberon series from Omegon is designed for observers who do not want to miss a single detail of the night sky. This wide-angle eyepiece with an 82° field of view gives you a generous, immersive view - open star clusters spread from edge to edge, and nebulae have the room to reveal their true extent. A 15mm focal length makes this eyepiece a versatile all-rounder. It works equally well for sweeping across the Milky Way and for medium-magnification views of specific deep-sky objects.
Multi-coated optics and nitrogen purging
The optics feature multiple anti-reflection coatings that reduce unwanted reflections and maintain good light transmission even at low star magnitudes. The barrel is filled with inert gas, so the internal lenses are protected from condensation - even during the temperature swings typical of spring and autumn nights. A filter thread lets you attach a planetary, UHC or OIII filter quickly, with no adapters needed.
Comfortable design and wide compatibility
The fold-down eyecup adapts to both naked-eye and spectacle-wearing observers. The 1.25″ barrel fits the vast majority of telescopes available today. At 50mm in diameter, 96mm in height and 245g in weight, the eyepiece is solidly built without placing unnecessary strain on your focuser.
Who is this eyepiece for?
The Omegon Oberon 15mm is a strong choice if you want a single eyepiece that covers a wide range of tasks at the telescope. It suits observers who enjoy large star fields, extended nebulae and a comfortable, wide view of the night sky.
