Omegon Oberon 32mm 82° 2″ Eyepiece

The Omegon Oberon 32mm eyepiece delivers an 82-degree field of view through a 2-inch barrel. With a 32mm focal length, it works as a true overview eyepiece - giving you low magnification and the widest possible slice of the sky. Extended objects fit easily into a single view: open star clusters, large nebulae, and entire constellations.

Clear views with strong contrast

High light transmission, a well-engineered optical design, and internal baffles work together to produce sharp contrast - even for more demanding observers. The Oberon 32mm performs reliably across a wide range of targets. Use it for a quick orientation sweep, then stay with it to study a specific object. You do not need to constantly swap eyepieces.

Durable and weatherproof

The eyepiece body is anodised and water-resistant. Nitrogen filling prevents moisture from entering the optical assembly, so the lenses stay clean. Both the housing and the lenses can be rinsed with water without any risk of damage - oils and dirt wash straight off. This makes maintenance in the field simple and stress-free.

Part of the Oberon series

The Omegon Oberon range includes six eyepieces with focal lengths from 7mm to 32mm. The focal lengths are chosen to cover useful magnification steps on most telescopes - from wide overview views right up to high magnification for planetary observation. The 32mm eyepiece forms the natural foundation of the full set.
