Omegon 1.25″ Manual Filter Wheel
Switching filters during an observing session takes time. Unscrewing one filter and threading in another breaks your concentration - and your rhythm. The Omegon manual filter wheel for 1.25″ filters solves this cleanly: nine positions let you load all your filters at once and move between them with a single turn of the wheel.
Nine positions, two connection options
The wheel holds nine standard 1.25″ filters. On the input side, you can connect it either via a 1.25″ barrel directly into an eyepiece, or via a T2 thread - for example to a CCD camera or a DSLR. The output side also uses a T2 thread, so the wheel fits neatly into your existing telescope setup without extra adapters.
The optical path length of the wheel is 22.5 mm. Keep this in mind when calculating your focuser travel.
Ideal for astrophotography
The T2 filter wheel is especially useful for photographers who regularly swap narrowband filters during planetary or nebula imaging - Ha, OIII, SII, or UV/IR cut. Instead of handling each filter separately, simply turn the wheel and carry on with the next exposure.

Who is this filter wheel for?
If you image deep-sky objects or planets and use multiple narrowband or colour filters in a single session, this filter wheel saves you time and protects your optics from repeated handling. It works equally well at the eyepiece for visual observers who want to compare views through different filters without interrupting their session.
