Omegon Redline SW 13mm 70° 1.25″ Eyepiece

The Omegon Redline SW 13mm eyepiece offers a 70° apparent field of view that genuinely changes how you experience the night sky. Forget the narrow, tunnel-like view you may be used to. With this eyepiece, star clusters appear scattered across a wide, velvet sky, and nebulae have room to breathe. At the same time, the eyepiece stays practical and easy to use.

Comfortable viewing - even with glasses

The 20mm eye relief makes a real difference if you wear glasses. Your eye does not need to press close to the lens, and the full image remains visible through your spectacles. An adjustable fold-down eyecup lets every observer set the right distance for their own comfort.

The optics feature multiple anti-reflection coatings. These reduce light loss and suppress unwanted reflections, so the image stays bright and clear.

Filter thread and camera connection

The eyepiece has a built-in filter thread. Screw on a Moon filter or a colour filter for planetary viewing - no adapter needed. An optional camera adapter opens up the world of afocal photography: simply attach a compact camera or smartphone and capture exactly what you see through the eyepiece.

The standard 1.25″ barrel fits the vast majority of telescopes available today, so compatibility is rarely an issue.

Who is this eyepiece for?

The Omegon Redline SW 13mm suits two groups of observers well:

  • Beginners looking for a comfortable, easy-to-use eyepiece to pair with their first telescope.
  • More experienced astronomers who want quality wide-field optics at a reasonable price.
